About this deal

Once inside the skin, it hydrates, but not from the outside - putting pure water on the skin (hello long baths! And it looks like the German grocer has another winner on its hands with a face primer that some beauty enthusiasts have said is "better" and "cheaper" than designer brand versions.

The grapeseed is listed as vitis vinifera (seed) extract and the green tea is listed as camellia sinensis leaf extract. It is a polymer (created from repeating subunits) molecule and has different molecular weight and thus different viscosity versions from water-light to thick liquid. I think this one was slightly thinner than the more expensive Smashbox version, but I quite liked that as I don’t like to go too heavy on my face. It’s not as good as the Smashbox primer and in all honesty I think it’s the packaging that is more of a dupe than the actually product. There are different grades depending on the molecular weight ranging from very light, volatile, non-residue leaving ones to more substantial, slight residue leaving ones. The primer was quite thin, which I liked, but others might not feel it is thick enough or that it mattifies enough. It’s an ingredient whose safety hasn’t been questioned so far by anyone (at least not that we know about). What seems to be a true difference, though, is that the salt form is more stable, easier to formulate and cheaper so it pops up more often on the ingredient lists.

If you wanna become a real HA-and-the-skin expert you can read way more about the topic at hyaluronic acid (including penetration-questions, differences between high and low molecular weight versions and a bunch of references to scientific literature). The legendary product was originally released in 2000, created to minimise the need for touch ups during photo shoots. I’ve been using this Lacura’s Snapshot Ready Foundation Primer every weekday for several months now and I don’t seem to have had any issue with my skin breaking out or it causing any problems.

It is listed about in the middle of the ingredients, so there may be a reasonable amount that could be effective, but again, difficult to know since it doesn’t list its concentration. To use, apply a pea-sized amount before foundation, starting in the center of the face and blending outward. A mineral powder used to improve skin feel, increase product slip, give the product some light-reflecting properties, enhance skin adhesion or serve as an anti-caking agent. Me with Lacura primer, a small amount of name-brand foundation, some Lacura mascara, and a little Lacura eyeshadow.Containing vitamin E and panthenol, The Lacura Snapshot Ready Glow Primer has earned fans who say it leaves them with the perfect blank canvas for their make-up. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .
