Too often recipes fall short on the marshmallow to cereal ratio and end up with treats that are either too gooey and hard to chew, or too dry and they scrape up the top of your mouth. Immediately add the mixture to the prepared pan and press into the sides and top to form a solid layer. I like to really let the marshmallow get nice and toasty (careful not to burn it) for more depth of flavor. And, adding some of the marshmallows along with the cereal so you get those gooey globs of melted marshmallow throughout.
