About this deal

Packed with comforting, easy-to-make and totally delicious recipes, proving you can be vegan and still have your cake (and mac and cheese, and lasagne, and pancakes) and eat it.

In her first recipe book, Feed Me Vegan, Lucy Watson has you covered with tempting meals from breakfast to supper - as well as all the sweet treats and snacks you need in between! She encompasses this with everything she does including her two bestselling vegan cookbooks, Feed Me Vegan and Feed Me Vegan for All Occasions , as well as her vegan food range Feed Me Vegan. I had no idea who the author was having never watched the programme, and I may not have bought it had I known as I may have thought it a gimmick.

I like my chilli to have a nice thick sauce but after the allotted 15 minute cooking time it was still quite watery. There are some very accessible and delicious sounding recipes that have really inspired me to try more homecooked Vegan meals. Feed Me Vegan: For All Occasions is full of easy recipes for everyday veganism , from a quick, week night pasta to blow-out Sunday feasts . Seasoned vegans and vegetarians will get more out of books like Jackie Kearney’s, or even revisiting the old Moosewood and Broccoli Forest cookbooks. I have been cooking for decades and don't need a lot of help with ideas in the kitchen, but sometimes especially with vegan it is just nice to open a book, follow instructions and have a meal turn out delicious. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is new to veganism or struggling to make the transition.

I read some reviews that said the recipes are quite basic and not very imaginative but actually it's exactly what I needed; to learn how to adapt meals we already know and love, to being vegan.I’ve tried and tested the fantastic range of dairy free and vegan Easter eggs on offer in the UK this year and in this blog you’ll find a review and rating of them all, along with my top 3!

The recipes in this cookbook range from healthy to junk food, which is exactly what I was looking for. After cooling in the tin for 10 minutes it started to collapse and on serving I could see that it wasn’t fully cooked. they're just extremely boring and kind of bland and theres absolutely nothing new or innovative in this book at all. p>Sign up to the Little, Brown newsletter for news of upcoming publications, competitions and updates from our authors. The question is – does it live up to the reviews and is it worth shelling out your hard earned cash for?I get the impression that this is targeted towards new plant-based eaters but it will easily appeal to longer-standing vegans too, there really is something for everyone in this book.
